Types of installation
At MIDEL, we have sinks that allow for undermount installation, and overmount installation. In the case of the D Series, DPVD Series, and P Series, they offer both options. It is important to understand the differences between the various options before choosing the type of installation that best fits the kitchen style.
Undermount sink
This type of installation allows for a larger workspace on the countertop, as well as complete integration of both elements in the kitchen, achieving a much more modern aesthetic. In addition, undermount sinks facilitate cleaning by minimizing seams and reducing corners where dirt can accumulate. The D Series, DPVD Series, and L Series are our models with undermount installation.
Overmount sink
Overmount installation is usually the most common in kitchens and better adapts to any style. At MIDEL, we have the P Series, R Series, and K Series for this type of installation. Furthermore, the last two models are available in different versions, with a drainer on the right or left, and with one or two bowls.
Sink configuration
Some of MIDEL’s sinks in the R Series and K Series come with a drainer, so there is the possibility of placing it on the right or left, depending on the kitchen’s needs. The side is determined by the location of the drainer. These models are a perfect solution for kitchens with a generous space to work in the countertop.
